Well, it's December and I had been neglect in taking care of correspondence during September, October, and November.
Sometimes in life other matters besides leps interferes with keeping up with those responsibilities.

I have caught up and hope to continue to keep up. Please keep the reports coming as well as up coming activities' notices.

The highlight of the month was the determination that a seldom encountered Special Concern species of hairstreak was photo vouchered in Michigan in 2008 by Julie A. Craves and her husband Darren O'Brien, Rouge River Bird Observatory, University of Michigan-Dearborn, Dearborn, MI 48128. She is providing a report for the December issue of the MES newsletter. So I will decline revealing the specifics, and we can all wait for her report in the MES newsletter.
